This individual left an indelible mark on Girard High School from the very beginning of his tenure. Seizing his inaugural opportunity to touch the football, he swiftly turned a swing pass into a 50-yard touchdown. This first touchdown marked the initiation of a remarkable and record-breaking journey. Throughout his three-year football career, he held the distinction of being a two-way player, contributing on both offense and defense. His prowess was apparent from the start, earning him an array of accolades including All-Conference, All-County, All-District, and an Honorable Mention All-State selection as a sophomore. Moreover, he secured nominations for the prestigious Big 2 award on three occasions during his time at Girard. His excellence persisted over his final two seasons, particularly as the stalwart of the Indian's offense. As a junior, he replicated his sophomore triumphs and even assumed the role of quarterback when necessary. His senior year would stand as a testament to his abilities as he etched his name into Girard's football record books with extraordinary achievements in single game, single season, and career offensive categories. Naturally, he repeated his All-Conference, All-County, and All-District selections, now elevated by the honor of being recognized as All-Ohio.
