During his time at GHS, he secured a three-year stint as a letter winner and managed to clinch the prestigious IS Team Al-Metro Athletic Conference and All-County selections on two occasions. Displaying remarkable prowess on the court, he achieved an average of 15.4 points per game during his junior year and followed it up with an even more remarkable performance of 20.6 points per game and 12.5 rebounds per game during his senior year. This outstanding performance led to his double recognition as an All-Ohio Honorable Mention recipient. His journey at Bethany College was nothing short of exceptional, characterized by his immediate impact and outstanding contributions. Right from the start, he earned the title of "Freshman of the Year" in the PAC and secured a position on the 2nd Team All-Conference. As his college career progressed, he evolved into a four-year letterman, earning the distinguished title of IS Team All-PAC and IS Team Great Lakes Region performer three times. His name is etched in Bethany's history as he stands as the all-time leader in points scored with an impressive tally of 2,127 points – a feat that makes him the sole player in PAC history to surpass the 2,000-point mark. Furthermore, he was honored with the PAC "Player of the Year" title twice, a testament to his exceptional skills and contributions to the game. A record-setting senior season saw him tally an astounding 759 points, securing a new single-season record and earning him the well-deserved recognition of All-American honors. Throughout his college career, his scoring prowess remained consistently impressive, resulting in a career scoring average of 20 points per game. His remarkable achievements led to him being named PAC "Player of the Week" an impressive eleven times during his collegiate journey.
