His leadership was equally evident as he earned team MVP honors thrice, guiding his team with impressive pins and takedowns. His accomplishments have led him to his rightful place as a new inductee in the EOWL Hall of Fame. Football, too, bore witness to his triumphant journey. As a senior running back, he shone on the field, achieving 1st Team All-Metro Athletic Conference (MAC), 1st Team All-Trumbull County, and All-Northeast Ohio (NEO) recognition. His distinction extended to an honorable mention All-Ohio selection and a nomination for the coveted Trumbull County Player of the Year accolade. Remarkably, he once held the school record for the most touchdowns in a game, a testament to his impact on the gridiron. Not one to be confined to a single domain, he also excelled in track and field. His prowess extended to the 300 hurdles, the 400 meters, and his role in the 4x400 meter relay team, where his contributions earned him All-MAC recognition. In recognition of his exceptional achievements across multiple sports, he was bestowed with the prestigious "Trumbull County Athlete of the Year" Award in 2000.
