He stands as a dedicated advocate, fervent supporter, and proud enthusiast of Girard's athletic programs. As a member of the Class of 1988 and an alumnus of Girard High School, he has demonstrated his commitment by offering financial backing to numerous athletic initiatives, programs, and scholarships through his company. After completing his education at GHS, he and his wife chose to make Girard their home. Here, they raised their family and established his business, weaving their lives into the very fabric of the city. He has freely given his personal time, leveraging his skills and craftsmanship to contribute to various improvement projects and initiatives within the school district and the city. A pivotal moment in preserving the school's history occurred during the transition to the new school building. He played a crucial role in relocating the Indian mascot from the original high school gymnasium floor to its current location. He carefully removed, restored, and erected the wooden Indian, ensuring that the symbol of Girard Indian pride could be admired by the entire community. At Girard Intermediate School, he contributed his skills to construct playground equipment, exemplifying his dedication to enhancing the learning environment. His craftsmanship extended to pivotal projects like the renovation of the football press box, improvements to the weight room, baseball dugouts, and overall enhancements to school district facilities. Over the past 15 years, he has consistently supported youth programs such as Girard Youth Soccer, Girard Baseball Association, and Club One Volleyball. When the need arises, he sponsors multiple teams across various levels, illustrating his commitment to fostering youthful athletic growth. He has directly impacted Girard High School's sports teams by donating equipment, providing new apparel, and boosting the basketball, football, baseball, softball, golf, and cheer squads. As a corporate sponsor of the annual GAA Golf Outing, he has significantly contributed to making it the foremost fundraiser for the school. He and his wife have also generously donated team dinners and supported the school as corporate sponsors. In memory of his late brother, Michael, he initiated a yearly $1,500 scholarship awarded to a graduating football player who embodies his brother's qualities. This scholarship has extended more than $15,000 in support to graduating seniors over the past decade. He continues to channel his efforts into raising funds through an annual golf outing named after his brother, furthering the reach of scholarship support. Alongside his wife, Lisa, and their three children—Anthony, Nina, and Gia—he remains steadfastly committed to our community, our schools, and our collective future.
