During her high school years, it was abundantly clear that she possessed remarkable talent across a trio of sports. Her sphere of athletic pursuits at GHS encompassed basketball, track, and soccer. As a member of the Lady Indians basketball team, she swiftly made her mark, contributing to a triumphant TAC Championship season. Primarily focusing on the defensive facet of the game, her dedication led to her being lauded by her coaches as the Defensive Player of the Year. Notably, she was a part of the team that achieved the most single-season wins in the school's history at that time. Her prowess extended into the realm of track, where she played a pivotal role as a member of the school's record-holding 4x400 relay team. During her junior year, the relay team shattered the school record from 1985 with an impressive time of 49.69. In her senior year, as a team captain, her relay squad secured the second-best time in the state qualifier, clinched the TAC and regional titles, and secured a notable 4th place finish in the statewide Ohio meet. Soccer, however, was where her passion truly thrived, and her achievements spoke volumes. Over four years as a starter, she remarkably tallied 80 goals and 37 assists. Her accomplishments include holding school records for goals scored in a single game (5), a season, and a career. Her extraordinary five-goal performance during her junior year earned her a spot in the OHSAA Division I record book at the time. Noteworthy accolades include being a two-time captain (the first ever to be named as a junior), consistently named Offensive Player of the Year, securing three-time 1st team All-Conference recognition, as well as three-time 1st Team All-County and All-District honors in Division I. Culminating her GHS journey, she earned an All-Ohio Academic Award and the distinction of All-Ohio 3rd team honors. She pursued her pre-med studies and soccer at John Carroll University, where her legacy continued to shine. As a four-year letter winner and three-year starter, she garnered recognition as a member of the Captains Council, earning two appearances on the All-OAC Academic Team. Additionally, she was selected for the All-OAC team during her junior year and earned a spot on ESPN the Magazine's Academic All District IV Women's team in 2005. Her university bestowed upon her the esteemed Clyde Lamb Award for the best female athlete in her senior year. After her graduation from John Carroll University, she achieved her medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine. Currently serving as a dermatologist in Gahanna, Ohio, she is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and James Cancer Hospital and Research Institute.
