Her dedication was palpable, as she rarely missed any event, solidifying her role as a steadfast presence in the lives of the community's members. For many years, Jane extended her generosity through scholarships known as the "Spirit, Loyalty and Pride Award." This award recognized female and male graduates who demonstrated unwavering dedication and enthusiasm for Girard High School. Her philanthropy nurtured the aspirations of countless students. Jane's impact was recognized through various awards and commendations, a testament to her profound influence on both the local government and the United States Senate and House of Representatives. Her engaging weekly "Gallavantin" column in The Girard News, and later in The Review newspapers, was eagerly anticipated by the community.
