Multi-sport athlete at GHS from 1929-1932. Earned 3 varsity football letters and 2 basketball letters. Earned All-Trumbull County football honors at the right end position in the 1930 and 1931 seasons. Considered by many as an outstanding shortstop and pitcher that anchored the Cosmos Club softball teams to Girard City Championships. Further advancements in athletics was not attainable due to the great depression of the 1930's.
