ABOUT

Attended Newbury College in S.C. and excelled in football and basketball. Coached all sports during his tenure at GHS. From 1922-1929 had a record of 46 wins, 18 losses and 7 ties for the Girard Football Team. Was the most successful football coach in GHS history. Was also Safety Director at Girard for 5 years. After leaving Girard, he was a coach and administrator at Youngstown South. During his career he was very active in track, football, and basketball as an official. He was the longtime Director of the Northeast Ohio Basket- ball Tournament.
