ABOUT

Her name is etched into the Girard volleyball record book, leaving an indelible mark on every conceivable offensive and defensive category. Throughout her four-year journey at Girard, she earned four well-deserved varsity letters, distinguishing herself as one of only two players in the school's history to secure a top 20 position in all eight statistical categories encompassing the game. From the very beginning, she showcased her talent, setting a school record during her freshman year for the best serve receive percentage—an impressive .987% at the time, a feat that still ranks third in the school's record books. The following year, she shattered another record, this time in assists, amassing an impressive 859 and securing her place as second all-time in that specific single-season category. Her contributions to the team extended beyond statistics, as she played a pivotal role in amassing a remarkable 80-27 career record, boasting an incredible 75% winning percentage. Under her influence, the Lady Indians secured three district titles and once earned the title of district runners-up. Her individual accomplishments were no less impressive, earning her two-time recognition as a 1st Team All-Trumbull Athletic Conference player and a double 1st Team All-District selection. After her senior season, her outstanding performance reached even greater heights when she was named a 3rd Team All-Ohio selection in Division III. While her passion resided in volleyball, her skills in track and field also caught attention. As a four-year letter winner in the shot put, she made her presence known by qualifying for regionals twice. Her senior year saw her rise to fourth place, propelling her to the state meet in Columbus where she finished a commendable 7th, a feat she achieved with aplomb. To this day, she holds the school record in the shot put event. Her volleyball journey continued at Warner University, where she participated in 111 collegiate matches, consistently leading her team in both digs and assists throughout her four seasons. Following her collegiate career, she ventured into professional play, spending two years with the Florida Wave and even captaining the U.S. Virgin Island team in 2017. Her impact on the sport extended to coaching, where she spent the past five years coaching girls' and boys' volleyball at Cypress Creek High School. Her dedication and expertise earned her the Metro Coach of the Year award on two occasions, further solidifying her position as a formidable force in the world of volleyball.
