Across the span of 40 years in GHS softball history, she could very well hold the distinction of being the most highly decorated player in the school's annals. Her swift impact on conference coaches was evident, earning her a 2nd Team All-MVC selection in her initial two seasons as the Indian's shortstop. However, it was her standout performances in her junior and senior years that solidified her position on the conference's 1st Team, securing unanimous acclaim. School records suggest that she might stand as the sole softball player in the school's history to have received all-conference honors in all four years. Her statistical legacy was firmly established in her final two seasons, where she led the Lady Indians in hits, batting average, home runs, and fielding percentage. Locally, she admirably represented Girard in the Senior All-Star Game and garnered recognition from WYTV and The Tribune Chronicle, both bestowing her with Player of the Week honors during her senior year. Her acclaim reached regional heights with her selection to the 1st Team All-NEO, culminating in statewide recognition with a 2nd Team All-Ohio nod. Upon her graduation in 1990, her excellence continued to shine at Westminster University, where she showcased her infield prowess. Throughout her four-year playing journey with Westminster, she was designated as a 1st Team All-NAIA Division III honoree and was also recognized as her Titan teammates' and coaches' choice for team MVP in 1994. Despite a season record of 17-15, she played a pivotal role in steering her team towards a conference championship in her senior season. Presently, she resides in Howland with her husband Eric and their sons Eric (15) and Evan (13). Serving as the Chief Financial Officer at the Community Corrections Association of Youngstown, she continues to make her mark beyond the playing field.
